PM wants visa issued to Zong, Huawei and ZTE employees immediately

pmPrime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken a serious notice of the delay in the issuance of visas of Zong, Huawei and ZTE employees, who have to carry out different projects in Pakistan. According to the sources, more than 90,000 Chinese professionals who belong to Zong, Huawei and ZTE are awaiting their visas.

According to the visa officials, the delay in the issuance of visas is due to red-tape ridden system and some hurdles of bureaucratic circles, which is why the visas of these employees are put on a waiting list. The multi-national telecom companies are waiting for their employees to come to Pakistan for the assistance in various development projects, which the companies have planned in future.

 

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has ordered the concerned department officials to give an explanation why the visas to the employees of these companies are not being issued. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also set up a special cell in the Prime Minister Secretariat and has given a task to it to make sure that no bureaucratic circles put hurdles in the projects of foreign investors. The special cell made by Prime Minister will soon become operational.
